Hi. Boy some of the names in the top posters window are blasts from the past.

A little about me.
I played shadowbane for a while, back in the day. Mostly death server (LoD). Quit after the server went down. Couple years later people told me the game was much better and as it was now fp2 why the fuck not?

Tried it out, liked it. Played mostly on test with LoD but also on the lore server vindication. Best thing and worst thing about lore was the racial/class restrictions. Ended up floating around in a lot of guilds, VD, the dwarves, superstars, i think sotd, keg(maybe?), pornstars, ss, and a whole bunch of other stupid shits i dont even care to remember anymore.

Anyways, I was a nonfactor, just another pixel in the bunch. Got my stone and mine fights and thats all i wanted. My motto was "leave the shit-talking, forum-whoring, and headaches to whatever poor slob was running the show."

Never played with you guys but i did fight you on several occasions. Especially "MadMercs" vs VD and FTP fights. Some good fights some shitty but either way, you guys always made the forum threads entertaining.


The point of my post.
Right, well... Darkfall isnt cutting it for me. Sure elder scrolls meets uo, all rapped up in a quasi-shadowbane feel; seems interesting...but i find the game itself just isnt for me. Fucking blows, really. Waiting for Mortal Online. (Which i suspect will suck the knob even harder then darkfall but hey, nothing wrong with hoping for the best, right?)


Anyways, I am wondering how is ZK doing?

Are you guys still playing WAR? That game blows chunks but I have my sub for awhile and will hold on to it until Aion in September. I have a bunch of toons spread out on a lot of servers, if you guys have some peeps i wouldn't mind joining. Will roll a new toon if i dont have one on whatever server you guys play on. Order or Destro is fine, tend to prefer my WP/DoK and BW/SORC over anything else. Big surprise isn't it? Mythic wouldn't know class balance if it bit them on their tiny white asses.



Also, how much of ZK will be playing Aion?

Not sure how many play WAR now, maybe one the WAR guys can jump in and let you know.
We will be playing Aion and seem to have a good base of players to get us started. If you dont have a guild for Aion yet let me know.
Basically all we ask is dont be a complete fuckwit to other guild members or a pain in the ass in vent.

Warhammer is pretty much dead, unfortunately, all the new rollers will face highly geared premades in end game not fun. Shame really, it was a really good game in theory and when it went off it went off. But as you say Mythic cant balance for shit, universal nerf bat is their answer to all the probs. I think im the only one who logs in now and again, and thats to play sc's and that kinda blows being the only 40 with a bunch of newbies or alts. Dont bother reading the forums cause all those nubs are carebears no animousity at aqll, quite frankly ever since shoon left its been "jolly good fight", "why yes it was, we almost had you, haha" , "yes you did but we held on for our forebearers yakyakyak let us stroke your epeen" well you get the drift. Hopefully Aion will be more balanced , polished and we can cause some grief for some ppl out there.

I'm not surprised. WAR is a piece of shit. Had so much hype... Fuck Mythic.

As you can see it's hard finding a good guild left in WAR. Meh, guess I'll pug until Aion.

As for Aion, yup got a guild for the NA. Bunch of us old timers from LoD and some we picked up in darkfail will be spanking Aion till it hurts.

I dont have a guild for EU. I plan on playing both. Not sure if there will be Oceanic servers as it already has Asian.

I guess i'll see how things go and sometime in September I'll look you guys up. Have us a pow-wow or somefing.

So true, after Shoon left we just couldn't bring the hate enough to hold back the tidal wave of gay that is Ironclaw cross-realm hand-holding society....
